Ten years ago I decided to leave my chemical engineering degree, EHS position, and the corporate rat race behind to start a photography company in the small town of Athens, Alabama.  

Initially taking general portraits on the weekend, the FuriousFotog® brand grew to 2 million followers across social media and with that I, rather suddenly, became an internationally published modeling/fitness photographer with a specific focus on romance book covers. Eventually, after taking inspiration from my fitness photo clients,  I also began working as a book cover model myself.  

Having been in the industry for a decade, I’ve interfaced and networked with countless authors and other clients. Through those strong relationships as a photographer and designer, I’ve helped create over 2450 book covers.  

Learning the ins and out of the book world, along with being an avid reader and storyteller myself, I finally decided to write and publish my first book, Homeward Bound, in June 2016. From there, the rest is history.
